I"ve got a killer crabgrass infestation here in GA. I put the pre-M out too late. Treated twice with WBG+CG. Looking to get some Bonide MSMA and add some wilt stop.

Anyone used this Bonide stuff? Reviews, I'm about to do some shopping tomorrow.

MSMA is good on crabgrass. You do not want oil based or wax based additives with it. If I am not mistaken Wilt stop is a wax based antitranspirant intended to stop evergreens from dehydrating in winter. This is not a good additive for lawn herbicides. If you have nothing else, I would rather put in a teaspoon per gallon of dish detergent. BTW, MSMA should be sprayed evenly over the lawn in 3-5 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft. Spot spraying or applying it in low volume applications is why there are complaints about the product burning the grass or not working on the weeds.

Is it 85 degrees yet? Seems a little early--are you sure its crabgrass? Not tall fescue--not orchard grass--not dallis grass? Our southern boys will be able to help you more than me--I am 1000 miles away. LOL!

See my post to your other thread.

I am 65 miles south of Memphis and crabgrass is maybe 1/4" tall with two tiny leaves. Unless it is alot warmer in your part of GA, you may not be looking at crabgrass.

Don't worry about name brands, just read the label and mix it accordingly.
