Do you need to have a license to spread the pellet type fertilizer down. And if so how would I go about obtaining this. I'm in the Cincinnati, Oh area.

If your doing it as a business most states yes. Go on your state web site.

You will need a license because you are doing it commercially. You can get the training manual at your local university extension office. The book should be like $20, read/study it over thoroughly and then take the test. The extension office should be able to tell you where you take the test. Once you pass your test, then you get your license and you will be okay to do fert. I believe there are some yearly fees though.
