Have you checked to see if you are getting any spark or fuel?

Any of the safety switches will not let it turn over. You will here the fan running only. A fuel pump hardly ever goes bad on those so I would check the fuses along with the spark plugs.

From what you are telling us the engine is trying to start but will not.
Check the back of your ignition switch. There are two wires that go to it. Make sure both wires are in good shape and not burnt up. Check the terminals on the ignition switch and make sure they are still in tact. If the wires and the terminals are still in good condition, there is still a chance that internally the ignition switch has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
One or both of your relays could be bad and need to be replaced.
Your starter solenoid could have went bad. (Its attached to the engine).
Pull of your air filters and look down in the carberatur. Make sure both dampers are in good working order. Make sure that fuel is getting to the carb. If fuel is not getting to your carb, your fuel line could be clogged or your fuel pump could be bad or your fuel filter could be clogged.
Now for the bad stuff: It could be that your fly wheel in your engine has gone bad. (That would suck)
Hope this helps
