wow, I would hate to see the fuel bill and mileage on the truck. I have heard nothing but bad things on fuel mileage on those new fords

hitechlm
04-22-2009, 09:17 PM
Didnt have any time today to take any new pics, Just got home. Fuel mileage, what fuel mileage? JK, its alittle depressing, only 8 miles to the gallon

Wow, I have heard around 6. Man, 18 wheelers get that much loaded. Dam pollution control crap.

hitechlm
04-22-2009, 09:51 PM
my 05 f45o gets the same gas mileage as my new one. The fuel bill isnt as bad as you would think, i group all my properties really tight, today we mowed 5 schools which was about 90 acres and only had to drive 35 miles total and that includes from when we left the shop until we got back. i promise i'll get pics of the inside as soon is i get it all organized

do you mostly service large accounts. and do you have a smaller rig if you do residential. looks good though. i like that stile dump

hitechlm
04-22-2009, 10:04 PM
we mainly use that rig, like i said i have another reg cab f450 that we use on the smaller properties. most are accounts are over 5 acres, one is about 90 i would say.

Here is my new rig 2009 f450 crew cab with a riechers dump body, and a 24' trailer

Nice rig, that trailer is nice too.
You can fit three ztr's in there, with the wb's
My old boss, use to park them sideways in the trailer. Instead of parking the straight, just turn it sideways. It works. Thought id share that with you. hope it helps

Very nice setup. I work for Brickman and havin that big dump is great. Not to mention the trailer. Ive fit 3 60s and a 72 in mine so while you cant fit your whole inventory in there...it holds plenty. Also to ya'll wondering about driving it on sidestreets or parking it its not that hard...just gotta know how to swing it.
