Hey guys, finally got a chance to take/upload some pics of my 463. I sold my New Holland L125, and boy, what a difference this machine is! Much smoother, more power, heated cab, can actually put attachments on it (came with bucket, forks, and auger), etc, etc! At some point I'll paint this machine up to clean it up a little. The picture when its on the trailer is when I picked it up. I borrowed my neighbours trailer because its much lighter than pulling my 7 ton dump 3 hours each way to get it! Enjoy..

It definitely is. The New Holland was a nice reliable little machine, but performance wise it wasnt great.

Naw, thats it! Just my truck, dump, and this Bobcat. I'm a solo op, so its really all I need right now. Someday I'd like to team it up with a Bobcat 323 mini ex or something like that, but for now I'm happy with what I've got.

Did you use the auger yet??

I just tried it out on one hole, worked pretty good! Its not a big auger though, I'm hoping it can somewhat handle a 24" auger for plantings. You have any experience with a bigger auger on yours??

The first time I saw a mini-bobcat I was amazed that such a thing was actually produced. I see people use them on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rijNHVuqs0 and still cannot believe they actually can do much. The fact that an auger is available for one is incredible. To me the bigger the Bobcat the better, so knowing that mini-bobs are productive is a good feeling.

It can easily dump into my trailer, and I put sides on sometimes that make the trailer over 6' tall

..thanks.. you'd call it more than cute if you need something to fit into backyards with only 4' to spare! the cab obviously doesnt have a ton of room, but I'm 6'3" and I can sit in there comfortably for a few hours at a time.

Our MT55 will spin a 30" bit with no trouble in compacted dirt.

nice its always good to hear when someone gets a new piece of equipment no matter what brand it is. I can't remember what size it was but we rented the smallest bobcat the rental company had and dug out from under a house turning the crawl space into basement. It did the job great and definately was one of the times when bigger isn't always better especially when manuevering around basement jacks

I see quite a few of those 463's around working in all the tiny back-yards we have here. I wouldn't mind having one some day. What kinda work does your neighbour do with that 753? It looks like it's in pretty decent shape for 7500 hours.

Sorry about the slow response.. works been getting crazy these last weeks! Ya it is in great shape for that many hours, he's a dairy farmer, but takes really good care of all his equipment. Its amazing how well that 753 still runs.
