I am wanting to get another trailer. This time a open 16' and i want to put sides on it, but i dont want it to look like crap. Please post pics of your or someone elses open trailer with side. Also if you can tell me how much you can haul in yours. I am tired of paying delivery fees and loading my truck with little amounts. I love my enclosed trailer but you can only do so much with it.

im just going to weld expanded steel to the sides of my trailer but the current rails are only about a foot high. its a 16' trailer with the sides i could probably fit about 6 yards of mulch

I have a few ideals like that, but i want to know what will be the best way to go with. I did sides for my cousins trailer a few years back that worked great but did not look the best. I mean they looked ok but i wouldnt have done it the way he wanted.

I used aluminum on mine and it looks good. I work at a aluminum rolling mill we can buy it at scrap price . Real cheap I coverd my 5x14 for about $26.00 .

Here is my trailer. It is a 16x6.5. The sides that are 2 ft high with expanded steel siding. I have had as much as 9 cubic yards of mulch on the trailer at one time. It could proubly hold as many as 12 yards depending on how well they were packed down.
