What do you think about this Encore??

I'm looking to buy a machine for cutting my own lawn and I came across this mower for sale.

Encore Premier series 32 inch deck w 12hp motor walk behind 4 years old, runs like new. Comes with grass catcher cage - was $2,100 brand new

The person is asking $895. What would you think is a fair price if it's in good condition?

ehhhh, I don't know about that one. I got mine which was a 2004 36" w/ a bagger and w/ a jungle wheels x2 sulky and the 17hp for $900.

I bought my 32" encore for $850 about 3-4 years ago. Its a 98 and Im guessing that it has at least 2000 hrs if not 2500 or 3000 hours on it. I would go for it, Im very happy with my encore and IMO they are Bulletproof.

I have one with a 12.5 hp Briggs older unit,but it works GREAT!!!

That sounds like a fair price. I have seen a few like that go arond here for 600. But, that price is still good.

Sounds decent.

I bought a 32"/12hp Briggs, Encore Premiere last year for $600, it made it through the season and on the last cut of the year the engine blew. I'm guessing it's around 6 years old or so.

Put a new Briggs on it this year, a 12.5hp and it's good to go. Always a great cut, stripes well, and even pulls jungle wheels with no issues.
