I am getting ready to start my own lawn care business. I am looking at the ZTR's on the market. There is so many to chose from, can someone tell me which ones are best and which ones to stay away from. I am going to have several accounts where I'll be cutting 4-5 acre lots. I am also need to add a grass catcher down the road.....

sounds to me like you are def gonna need about a 60" ztr and for what it sounds like you are gonna need a rough and tuff ztr so as much as i hate to say it you might wanna look into a hustler. they also have top notch bagging systems. i would stay away from bobcat ztr's although they have phenomanal walk behinds. also a scag might fit your likings to

Definately a 60-66" ztr for those size properties. I think Hustler has one that has a 66" deck. Hustler, Gravely, Scag, Toro, Exmark ect are all good, it pretty much comes down to personal preference and quality of cut. Do your research and demo before you buy. If you're going to run a grass catcher then go with as big of an engine you can afford. Good luck.
