"Bio Char" black gold for lawn care??

Interesting article about Bio Char. Will we be buying this someday for our lawns?

Where is the article? The idea is well intended but it isnt quit sustainable. Planting a crop to burn up so you can plant another crop.

Terra preta, I love the idea and have available resources for my self to try to create and use it but to solve world hunger no way.
