This One is For You Junior:laugh::laugh:
Well i guess my friend thought he would bring tiller over for me, said he would put it end of railway (which crosses our driveway so we use it for a short-cut) and i can pick it up there, so when he got there he un-hooked it but then decided to bring it in....... well i guess he was driving to fast and went over a bump and tiller bounced off and he had enough speed that it went over and all 4 wheels are off ground so he was stuck:laugh::laugh::laugh: no damage to tiller and luckily i had 272C to come rescue him:laugh::laugh:

That's why I like the hyd. coupler on my CAT. No issues with getting lazy and not properly hooking attachments.

Did anyone happen to see that sign in the background of pic 1 that said "SLOW" I guess they should have spun it around so he could see:laugh:

This is no joke....I once airmailed an empty light materials bucket due to this very reason. I had to move a machine from one spot, go to the drop area where we try and keep attachments, and switch attachments on the machine. The machine had a bucket on it and we needed the vibe plow.
I thought I would be smart and unlatch the coupler as I walked up to save me the aggravation of getting in/out +1 times.
As I approached the drop area, I'm really (still to this day) not sure what happened with my left hand but the machine starting bucking (huckity buckity as I call it-damn crappy ISO pilots) as I was changing the angle of the bucket for the drop with my right, it pitched the machine up and back sharply, the bucket broke free, and shot forward about 2 feet and landed next to the forks. I sheepishly looked around to see if my guys could see what happened. I got out and put the plow on and moved on. I really do know that this can happen.....To this day I will not allow anyone on my payroll to move a machine with the attachment in the unlatched position.

Good catch! I didn't see that when I first looked at the picture. I've had attachments fall off the coupler because I didn't engage the pins but I have to say that I've never come close to climbing over the attachement.

I've done it. First time I had a tree shear about 12 years ago. Didn't latch it down.
Here's another one; had a customer offer to put wedges down on an auger. I let him then lifted the attachment and took off. Auger came off and because I was carrying it high to avoid the auger bit dragging, it bounced and came through my lexan destroying my door and scratching the heck out of the lexan. I don't let anyone help now. they always want to..but never do it right!
