Will fibreglass based ponds crack in northern climates ?

[just pondering]

We have a customer of our's that has a fiberglass pond it's 8'x8'x2' deep and has a 1000 lb statue in the middle of it. We have been servicing his pond for four years now and it's been fine and we are located in Michigan
