View Full Version : Trailer I got for $500

I was powerraking a place and noticed this trailer sitting in their yards with weeds all grown around it and asked if they wanted to get rid of it. They baught it to move here last year and once they got here it has sat ever since. They put brand new tires on it when they got here too. I thaught the gate was a bit heavy so got some 50 pound return springs from HomeDepot for $10 and now the gate lifts as easy as can be. I was getting sick of pulling enclosed around all the time because I can't see out my mirrors plus the extra weight gets old too.

2 feet too short for what? Everything I own even with the deck set low drive right up without any hangups. I seem to have no problem at all with the gate height.

Hell of a deal for a dual axle trailer. Nice paint job it will look like new. Already set up for mulch hauling

That is a steal! And the gate looks fine. Any more and it would be way to heavy and bend with alot of weight on it.

Looks like a sweet deal to me. The gate looks good to me as the trailer floor looks to be low so the gate does not need to be longer.

So what is it, 6x14? That would be ideal for what I want. What kind of sides are those? Interested in setting my 5x12 up like that but don't know..
