I only have the two f450's for work trucks, and a chevy 1500 for my personal truck. Most of our work is commercial, we have a school district that consist of about 18 schools, some apartments, and a couple residential lawns that i have had ever since i started. i thought i took pics of my mowers to day, but couldnt find them when i was uploading the pics. As far as the trimmers go we have several properties that take over 6 hrs to trim, one guy starts trimming then as soon as the other guys get done mowing they start helping.

No i designed it and had Mitler Brothers make it, every thing was cut out on a water jet. If anyone wants one just pm me. I can have them make it to hold any amount of trimmers you want. I'll take some close ups of it tomorrow.

nice equipment and trucks. I have a question on the body on the new ford. Are those metal brackets to hold them in the stake pockets and just wooden sides? Did you make them yourself? I know brickman and trugreen have similiar bodies but they look easy to make if you get the brackets and the wood? Any info on the bodies and how they were built would be great or just pm me because I am putting a flatbed on my chevy pickup and would like sides like that. Thanks.

Riechers out of Washington, MO built the body, they build all of brickmans bodies also. I had it built to brickmans specs. The brackets are made out of metal, but the sides are made out of solid plastic with 1/8" routered grooves to simulate wood sides. Plastic sides cost alittle more, but you dont have to worry about them rotting or breaking. That bed is 9.5L x 8W, with a single action hoist, a buyers under body box, pintal hitch, and the plastic sides cost $8500 after tax and installation.

At first i didnt like them because they seemed to light in the front end because of the shortened wheel base, but after getting use to it, I LOVE THEM. We mow some crazy hills and they dont want to nose down like the old ones, there very stable. We have been mowing with them for the past 3 weeks and one has 75 hrs and the other has a little over 80hrs

No i have another one, its an older toro 60". Yeah i use to do retaining walls, but decided to get out of that, do to not having enough time, and i thought it was a good idea to just concentrate on 1 thing instead of 2 diffrent things, which really paid off. We only do maintenance, and snow removal now.

Hey nice setup you have it looks real efficient. I am glad you posted that last pic, I believe it is a Ferris w/b. Is it the 61''? I looked at them but I never tried one yet I was wondering how you like it? Not too many people around me have them but my first mower I bought was a Ferris and I haven't replaced anything on it yet besides the blades. I have 3 exmarks but around here the exmarks are 2-3k more expensive then the Ferris.

The wb's are the 52" models, once you use a ferris you will never use anything else. I would say around here there are more of them, but there's alot of exmarks also. Ferris's are built like a tank and in my opinion they are the easiest to use and stripe the best with no striping kit needed.

Why don't you just cut the ROPS bar off? It serves no purpose at all when you fold them down. A co worker of mine had a mower fall on them and so I know the importance of using EVERY AVAILABLE safety feature

I took them off my old toro, Im going to take them off these ones also. Even if i had them in the up position i would still jump off the ztr if it started to flip.

The back pack blowers are stihl 550's, and there is one 600

we leave those mowers in the trailer at night and just back the truck and trailer in the shop. We had just got done washing them and still had to change the oil and sharpen the blades so i left them out.

Wow, that is some nice stuff. How are you liking that new Powerstroke? I like chrome, but the black and red looks good together (and is probably a lot cheaper). The bed on the F450 looks really nice. What's the purpose of the gap in the sides at the top?

I really like the truck, just dont like the fuel mileage. I use to be a big fan of chrome and polished aluminum, but dont really care for either anymore. As far as the gaps go, there is no purpose. I had Reichers build the bed to brickmans specs, i think they look good though, it breaks it up alittle.

To answer the question for him, large properties are always billed per service. during the bid process, we calculate the amount of trimming, mowing with 60", mowing with 48", mowing with 21"... linear ft of blowing. We know our production rates. times that by the hourly rate to get bid price.

The new crew cab dumps, Im going to get Riechers to put a new bed on the single cab this winter, it will also have a hoist. After having a dump bed, i dont think i would ever buy a truck without one. Saves alot of time and backache

I bought both my trucks out of state, so when i do have to take them in for warranty work i usually go to Pundman Ford. As far as the mowers go i use Scotts Power Equipment for the ferris mowers and Harvestor Small Engines for the toros and all the stihl equipment. I have to run to the shop this weekend so i'll try to remember my camera.
