Echo 650.

We still have some of the other 2 and both are good units.

I just can't understand why anyone would want a 2nd teir blower.

Take a look at Maruyama.
You might be surprised at what it can offer over the others.

I like the stihls too. I have a br400 right now and love it. I know they came out with the 420, but im sure its even better. Ive heard the echo is pretty powerful, but seemed heavier to me.

Both are good units- the reason I run echo is I like the way the throttle is mounted seperate from the tube and can fold up if needed. This comes in handy when I'm between shrubs and a house or sticking the tube into shrubs to blow out leaves.

Kent Lawns hit it on the head...the Echo 650 is the best I have used so far. And I think I have probabaly tryed/owned just about every kind and size on the market.

My 2 cents...

I just purchased the Stihl Br420, its a lot lighter than the Echo and has about the same power. You can't make a bad choice, there both good blowers.

I hope this helped.

I like stihl they work good for us, but I think you need to see what dealer wil give you the best service when you ned it. the echo dealer here runs more guys off with his service. The machine isnt any good if u cant get it back and working fast

Comfort and Power...its the Stihl BR420.

MORE power, but a little less comfortable...ECHO pb650.

I participated in a comparison demo between ECHO 650, Shindaiwa's top blower, the Redmax 7000 and the Stihl BR420.
ECHO beat them all, MUCH to my suprise. It wasn't even close.
