I started a chimney sweep company in november. I got really slow when the warm weather started. I thought what kind of work I would like to do in the summer time and lawn care was at the top of my list. I had no luck with someone taking me on with no exp. Long story short I spend a few hundred on cheap home mower. and trimmer and blower. I also carry everything in my e150 van

I got about 10 lawns going and growing. My push mower is killing me. I have been saving every cent for a new mower. What's a good starter mower? scag are very exp..
my lawns are less then a 1 acre.
if buying a used mower a good idea?

I'm learning as I go I'm so happy to find this forum. Any help would be wonderful.

I got both my exmark and ferris used. I paid 600 for the ferris in 2007 and 1200 for the exmark in 2009
