WOW, that thing is ugly... Looks like a golf cart with a mower deck, and with that I'd guess that it was probably made by Cushman.

Keep guessing. You can search the internet all you want, but these are probably the only pictures you will find of it. It is a well known brand though. Built in the mid to late 90's. I will even give you the model#, it is a CTR5220k. Serial# is 125

I've seen one of these on ebay before. I think it's a Ferris.

It may be ugly, but its probably the only mower you can get lettered with your company logo and phone#.

It is a Ferris. When I called Ferris to see if I could get a manual, they told me that it was such an oddball that they never made an owners manual for it. They told me they could not even say for sure when it was made other than to say it was mid to late 90's. The thing is in near new condition and only has 800 hours on it. It has a 20hp Koehler Command engine on it. The last owner did a cruddy paint job on it though, so I will have to remedy that. My neighbor does vinyl lettering so we are thinking it needs some decals in a bad way. I am thinking some flames on the sides and some mean looking eyes and teeth on the front.

some one mentioned a spoiler, that would be good along with some chrome wheels, pimp it out.

800 hrs is hardll like new. Dont waste your money on that.

Its definitely a ferris. This is what they came out with before they started making traditional ztrs. My dealer gave us a ferris video way back in the day and this was one of the machines on it. I remeber the video saying something like, "instead of jumping on the bandwagon with another me too product ferris took a long hard look at redifining the zero turn concept". I personally thing it looks like a sweet machine, but I guess they didnt see too well bc i never really saw one being used haha.

My guess is you do not mow much. I am in construction and that is roughly 4 to 5 months work.

guess we can't all buy new equipment every time a mower gets 800 hrs on it. you must buy new mowers every year. If you keep maintenance up on your stuff it will last a long time. Junk equipment....:confused: I got a toro with over1400 hrs on it and it runs great. Then againg i do regular scheduled maintenance to it. I guess I'm the dummy!:dizzy: It's my favorite mower!

Never said anybody is a dummy. I just like to keep my stuff new. When i can sell a mower for not much less then i paid for it and buy new and always keep it under warranty. My backup mowers are old but my main mower will always be new.

I had never seen one of these before reading this post the other day. Then I was at the Ferris Dealer today and an older guy was loading one up on his trailer after have some work done on it. It appeared to have the original paint and decals on it. Very odd looking machine!

Never said it was "nearly new" I said it was in "nearly new condition".
Big difference. The mower was extremely well maintained and everything is as tight as the day it was new. The only flaw is that the guy did a cruddy paint job on it. I run heavy equipment for a living, and I will tell you that when you get a piece of heavy iron with 800 hours on it, it has only been in service for 4 to 6 months. I would have to think that if someone was mowing heavy, they would not be much different. Well maintained, it can be in "nearly new condition".
