Check out the 4.16.09 news announcement. Forbearance is a temporary agreement that a lender gives a debtor time to bring their payments up to date or in line.

I guess it doesn't surprise me as CNH Capital was(maybe still is) having issues. We will probably hear of some more this year.

Geez, 150 years of service, and they chrome the sh*t out of a skid steer loader and then announce this.

I am a proud Gehl owner and it doesn't surprise me. Same thing as GM when you can get the same product branded under another name it is only a matter of time. I like my skid and service and they are one of the few that are offering 0% on excavators right now

They've since reached ageement with their debtors on a new timeline. I read today that Fiat is now trying to buy Opal and possibly Saab and another car company in Europe from GM. This could mean trouble for CNH since Fiat was already after the $5 billion they loaned to CNH last year. Fiat will need to generate big bucks to close the deal with Chrysler and GM. This would make Fiat probably the #2 car manufacturer after Toyota. GM is falling fast. CNH and Iveco may be on the market to generate the needed cash.

Maine is one of my family's favorite vacation states, trout fishing in the Rangeley region to Acadia, NP and that wonderful coastline. They even have a wonderful little burg, Brownfield, ME-my family's name.

Been there long enough to even be close to consideration as a local?
