Anyone use / compare these blowers. I personally have a BR600 and am very happy with it. I will need another blower soon and would like the most powerful, best performing one available. Looking for real life comparisons of possible, not tube numbers. Thanks.

Do a couple searches and you will get a bunch of opinions.

I have the BR 600 too and really like it. If I got a second blower, it would definitely be the Shindaiwa EB802RT. It's the best blower on the market.

People on this site that have both the RedMax and the Shindaiwa say that they like the Shindaiwa alot better, but that the RedMax has a tad bit more power. One other thing to consider is that the Shindaiwa uses ALOT less gas than the RedMax. One guy on here put the high-speed nozzle on the Shindaiwa, and said that it got the power up nearly to the level of the RedMax, so I would definitely go with it.

I really love my BR600 as well. Performs well, and starts almost always on the first pull.

The most powerful blower in the market, hands down is the Shindaiwa EB8520. Niether, of the blowers you debating about come close.

Keep it simple, Tony

I have 5 blowers in my business:

2 shindaiwa eb630's
1 shindaiwa eb8510
2 stihl br600's

The stihl br 600 has been the best all around blower for me. It has plenty of power and is light weight compared to other blowers. However the shindaiwa eb 802, eb8510, eb8520 are noticeably more powerful than the stihl.

I like to use the eb8510 to do leaf cleanups as well as blowing off large parking lots. I have had very few problems with my blowers. they have been very dependable and are used daily.

STIHL BR600 is the best. The fuel economy alone is leaps and bounds ahead of Shitdaiwa and Redcraps.

barko4 sure has some intelligent things to say, name calling Shindaiwa and RedMax and owning virtually all Stihl equipment. This guy sounds like a real genius to me. LOL!

I have a BR600 and enjoy it, but from other guys I have talked to after a few seasons they can get "fussy", not run quite right and really drink the gas! I've worked with kids on municipal crews who didn't mix fuel properly and did a whole world of damage. I'm not dogging the 600, it's a great machine, but I think it's long term durability may be a factor to consider. How long do most guys run a blower before it's crap?

I have a 600 along with three RedMax blowers. The 8001 is the strongest but weighs the most. The 600 and the 7001 are very close with a slight edge to the 600. I will not be going with Stihl products because of their engines. The engines are high maintenance. They tend to have carbon build uo issues as well as valve adjustments concerns. I am going with a simple engine technology.

I bought the BR600 M based on fuel consumption, price, and weight. I do not believe it is the most powerful, but it is economical.

not true with the br600 vs the eb8520 shinny. have several documented head to head tests and the shinny runs an average of 10-20 mins longer per tank, has more power, and a lot less maintenance than a br-600.. do you do your vavles as often as stihl says?? you better!!
i work on a lot of 600's and they will fail if the valves are not kept in spec.
