... on a newly seeded lawn, seems the weeds are growing along with the grass. I do go out for a couple of hours each day and pull em, try for root and all but seems the next day they are right back.
Any suggestions? I still have one section I need to till and seed which is over grown with weeds.
We are spreading Bermuda.
Thanks for any info. :)

Well I am asking if all i can do is pull em or is there a chem that won't kill the new grass sprouts?

Since no one else has responded I will see if I can help. I looked on my bottle of Ortho Weed-B-Gon and for newly seeded lawns it says it can be used 6 weeks after sprouting or after the 3rd mowing. If it were me I would just let the weeds grow until that time. I have had good success with the Weed-B-Gon but on tougher weeds it sometimes needs a second application about 10 days later. For the area you haven't tilled I would apply Roundup or the generic equivilent about 10 days before tilling.

gotcha!
You have any idea how it targets weeds and not just anything green? Seems thats what throws me is how does fert and chems target just weeds, gods knows I don't want to spray anything on my nice new lawn to wake up the next morn to a dust bowl. :)
Thanks for the info.
