Do any of you guys do this? We have had tons of rain, and when it isn't raining it is blowing 30 mph. I am trying to finish up my three-way round, but it is begining to creep into my bermuda fertilizer round. I was thinking that I could do both while at the same lawn. Either fertilizer first and then spray or spray (since the sun will most likely dry the three-way) and then fertilize.
thoughts?

are you licensed? three way and fertilizer is what most companies apply for the 2nd application on...this is a little scary.

I am licensed.... as anyone in the business has to be. I usually don't fert and spray at the same time, but with the weather we are having it is time for both. I am using trimec 992 and a granular fertilizer with a z-spray.

So you have a z-spray but don't do both at the same time??? I have one question...why wouldn't you do both at the same time unless you enjoy going over a lawn twice. I mean why spend all that money on a z-spray if you are going to just waste time and not use the equipment as it is designed.
Yes that is the point of the ride ons.Let her rip tater chip.

I don't know of anyone in my area that sprays and does granular fertilizer at the same time. I have tried it, but seems to be too much to to keep up with. You northern guys might get away with it. Just didn't want to burn up a lawn when the temps are in the upper 80s or low 90s. Plus our temps have been cool and finally have full bermuda green up.

Some of the cool season grass guys may not understand that fert get applied on bermuda in the summer and if you laid your pre-emege and broadleaf herbicide correctly in the Falll and Spring, you don't really have a reason to spread fert and blanket spray herbicide at the same time on warm season grass.
There are alot of exceptions to this. In particular, new accounts will almost alway require MSMA, Drive or other and fert applied the same day.

Do it all the time.
I do too. Spread the granular fert first unless you have a ride on.
