View Full Version : Spacing on Creeping Junipers

I have a hillside that the customer wants planted with creeping Junipers to eventually grow and cover the whole area. Its about 15x40ft. What would be the suggested plant spacing and amount for that area for a 3 gallon plant.
Creeping juniper (J. horizontalis) is mainly used as a groundcover, since it grows up to 2 feet high with a 6- to 8-foot spread. There are many landscape uses with different cultivars.
I would think 3 plants deep and 6 to 7 plants wide.
