Cat's 1 yard bucket wasn't "big" enough, so I had to suck up my pride and bend over once again for the Bobcat dealer.
I retired the old manure bucket this morning, video will follow later today.

that machine is just not big enough for that bucket...:dizzy:
will it even pick up a full bucket load of wet clay?

It picked up a bucket of wet topsoil in front of our field this morning, curl in is weak, but I can get more leverage on the back of the bucket if I push down and curl up. But it will lift a full bucket.
I bought it as a manure/light materials bucket, I have a 4 hour clean out inside a barn on Tuesday and I couldn't find a used one, so I coughed up $1639.21 for it.

BTW, how many freaking attachments do you have for that thing?!? I counted 7 in those pics. That bucket still looks huge!

I couldn't find them but Ritchie Bros had 2-3 buckets that were 66 inches wide for a skid steer I think they were brandnew but I can't find them listed now.
That bucket that you bought looks too big your weakling Cat isn't going to beable to handle that.

Ron I have to ask what was the point of smashing the bucket up? just seems like it was rough on the excavator and tore your driveway all to hell... I would have just taken it the way it was. But it was fun to watch you beat the hell out your machine:laugh:

What kind of flail mower do you have? Will it do light brush, no saplings or trees? I'm in the market for something to clean up my properties with

I made sure I could never use it again, or someone could buy it off me, that bucket was finished when I had it on the T190 bulldozing 200 loads of sand 5 years ago.
I smashed it in the gravel where the trucks park, so no harm done, the main driveway is on the other side. I was looking for a job site with one of the 320's, but I was on one this morning with no thumb, and I saw the low bed bugger off with another machine, so I was SOL.
Dad's old PC60 can take some abuse, 10,000+ hours and it's got diarrhea coming out of the swing gear, you can feel the house rocking slightly in the right condition.

It can do 1" saplings and bigger, but it needs more oil flow to do up to 3".
It's wonderful in tall grass.

I've heard 03 was a bad year for Bobcat anyways, why? Dont ask me, our salesman(hopefully soon to be:laugh:) has a 2003 T190 and a 2006 T190(he's got a little biz on the side) and they are both loaded the same, cab, rowing oars, exact same, and he has more trouble out of the 03 than ever and he says he isnt the only person with this problem..

Around here Bobcat is another form of theft.......So they are pretty much on par with Cat. Actually right now they are sure treating me like a king. They are desperate for business....every time I walk out of there the parts manager says "Hey I bought you something..." and then goes and randomly picks a Cat product off the wall.....this last time it was a Cat license plate. :cool2:

I had a little "incident" when I was 15 with a torch, I forgot to turn off the acetylene for about an hour while I was using the welder. No more playing with any form of spitting fire from then on.

The bucket is weak though, if you step in the center, it flexes, so in the future I will have my welder put a 1/2" thick steel plate in the inside of the bucket, there is no room underneath because it will lift the bucket up, and I like this one to stay flat so I don't pick up too much sand under the bedding packs I clean out.
Well Bobcat might have bigger buckets, but Cat Operators have Bigger Balls.....
Your right, they do, too bad they say made in China on them. You Cat guys need to stop with the "Strap On's". Besides if CAT would put some balls in their machines, maybe their owners could grow some of their own. I guess though with a whooping 217 foot pounds in their largest machines, you might not want to throw away the Strap On. Might be as close as you get to a "set".
