O'k I know alot of you use LawnPro and so do I. But dang I am tired of all the bugs in it, I don't know if you guys have any experience with this particular bug that keeps getting me but here it is.

When I enter and save a new customer (with property and schedule) it steals another customers property and schedule resulting in 2 properties for the new customer. 1st property is the one I entered and the other property is one that it took from an existing customer. The existing customers property list is now empty.

The only way to fix it is to delete both properties and re-enter them. wtf.

It wouldn't bug me so much but I'm adding 8-10 new customers a week now and it's really starting to annoy me. Basically I am at the end of my rope with this software. Does anyone have something better they are using that doesn't cost $2895.00 (ServiceCEO), but under $500 or so and can manage a huge client list with excellent scheduling abilities?

Sincerely,
Donald

I bought lawn pro last year. I found the customer service sucks, the phone number to call always goes to a voice mail and to this day I haven’t gotten a single returned phone call for support. All of the help videos where from a prior version and would not hold true to the program I purchased. This is no joke, my brother in law is a computer programmer for lg & e. he also said the program was not worth the money.

Yes there were a few things I liked but over all I thought it sucked. I threw it out and anyone I talked to that was talking about a buying a program I told them not to waste there money. :nono:

I went back to QuickBooks. My wife loves quikbooks!!!!!

I've been using gopher for a few years along with quickbooks (they talk to each other) and am pretty happy with the pair.

The other problem with lawnpro is whenevery you reload windows you have to get a new activation code from them to use it. Or if you get a new computer. You get the cd whenever you purchase, but worthless without activation code.
And trying to make sense of customer billing history? A mess.
I use it now for scheduling and invoice reminders.
Quickbooks now for me as well as Quickbooks merchant services for my customers to log in to pay bill.

I use MS Accounting 09 for accounting, I just wanted LP to work for scheduling because I like it for that. I wish it just wasn't so buggy.

Quake books does all the scheduling for me and printing invoices is a breeze. Just click about 4 times and it prints my entire day’s worth of invoices.

The biggest thing I hated about lawn pro (maybe im just picky) your invoices had to be on a complete sheet of paper. All of my invoices are half sheets I think it looks sloppy having a full sheet with only a few words…to much wasted space.

I emailed customer support asking them if there was a way to make half sheet invoices. After waiting almost a week for a response all I got was…there is not reason to make half sheet invoices…that was the wonderful lawn pro advise

How does QB (assuming you meant Quickbooks) do your scheduling for you?
