I was just wondering. Do anyone price differently for a wooded lot [for mowing and weedeating] than you do foran open lot. This is my first year in business,I am having a hard time with quoting prices. I don`t want to under bid to get the job, and work myself to death and not turn a profit! But on the other hand I need the work. I am going this morning to give an estimate on this job, so timing is critical. I would appreciate any advice!

I have been out of the business for about 2 years (trying to get back in) but I always based everything on the time it takes you to complete the job. Per hour price X the time you think it will take you do do it...Good Luck

I try to price based on time I think it will take to complete a job, so I would bid higher on a wooded lot (or any lot with obstructions or items that have to be mowed or trimmed around).
This job will obviously take you longer than one that is wide open, so price accordingly.
You need to bid it so that you can make money.
