We have added a new twist to the Who Where What Forum. It's now the Who Where What Did you start with. It will be interesting to see what we all had to start with and what we have now. Maybe this will help new guys that are just starting out to understand that we all didn't start out with $10,000 mowers and new trucks.
For the guys that have posted already, please go there and edit what you have already posted and add what you started out with. If you got some equipment since posting, add that too.
For you guys that haven't posted on that forum, please go there and add your information. We now have over 900 members and only around 80 have listed their equipment and info. After reading some of what I expect to see on this now, nobody should be embarrassed to let us know what equipment you guys have. Hey, we all started out at some time and I would say some of us had some junky stuff, compared to what we have now.
If nobody makes comments to this post, I will be adding something daily so it will be up on top for everyone to read. Thanks
----------
Eric@ELM
So far, this new idea is working. We got 5 new posts on the WWW forum and a few that edited and added what they started with. A few of you started new discussions when you posted there and now we have to have this search for all discussions to find yours instead of the default of the last 5 days. If you would like, you can copy the old one and paste it to the big one so guys can scroll through it all at one time. When you do this, let me or Chuck know and we can delete the old discussion you started so it's not there twice.
Also, if you guys could add a reply here that you have made your changes or posted, it will help us keep this towards the top so everyone gets a chance to read about these changes. The Who, Where, What did you start with Forum is a handy referance for guys to see what others are using and to ask them about equipment you might be interested in.
Have you posted or edited your post yet?
----------
Eric@ELM
We have a lot of new members, so I am bringing up this old post so new members can see it and get their post made on the WWW forum. I am really surprised more of the members here don't have equipment. If any of you new members have questions on how to post, use the Java Chat, or any other questions, feel free to email me. We want you to be able to use Lawnsite like everyone else. You can find my email address at anytime by going to my profile, which is at the top of each of my posts, at the top left corner of each page behind Forum Moderator, or on my website.
----------
Eric@ELM
