Whats a good going rate? I would need to rent the box broom for a skidder, cost of $200. Its a small parking lot, probally take 2 hours tops.
I could throw them a price of $500 but I dont want to rip them off, because I'd like the plowing contract again next season.

When I did it, I was at 95 an hour but was always sweeping for at least 7-8 hours a time. Could you bundle a couple together so the rental would be spread out?

I get $105 per hour for the sweeping rig, add labor costs, and all trucking.
$500 sounds fair depeding on how bad it is. Lots of sand takes lots of time.
Don't rent a Bobcat or a Cat broom. They don't pick up all that well, Look at a Deere or a MB. The finish product is way better.
