Hmmm...I was wondering the same myself...
Does he expect other companies to give him some of theirs???
You have to start somewhere...advertise, advertise, advertise...then advertise some more. Craigslist is free...offer some highly discounted (like $10-15) lawn mowing to show your work on condition of a higher regular price if the customer is satisfied. Get some business cards (VistaPrint is very cheap and even free in some cases) Post them at sub shops, and other businesses where they have local ad boards...I assume you have a phone number?? Get some cheap signs (VistaPrint) and place them near high traffic areas where drivers have to stop like at a traffic light...get some cheap plastic bags and put a business card inside and hang on mail boxes in the areas you want to work...It all starts with one client. Tell your client that you will give a free mowing for new referrals...enough ideas....stop whining and get out there!!

vista print is my friend i got pens, hats, post cards, shirts, signs, bus cards and a banner.my wife and i walk 2 hrs a day,i'm shaking babies and kissing hands i got some cheeeep accounts but i have some nice ones to theres some guys will tell not to bother wih cheap accounts and i'll admit i dont like them but work is work. i dont let the creditcard warriors scare me off either(20 grand worth all new shiny equipment)my gear is paid for...
this my 2nd go round but in a different state(nj) it was easier in my home town
its your company build it!! no one is gonna give you there accounts. nock on doors,go to local events, networking groups dont lowball yourself.
a rainy day is a goodday to put flyers out check with your city before you put them out they may have rules about this
good luck

I have invested about 50k in the last month on equipment and truck.
Did you have the accounts to pay for that amount of equipment?? Sounds like you made a huge initial investment.

Okay...How many accounts do you have now? Unless you're very lucky, you don't build a huge client base up over night...it takes years in most cases...I hope you haven't shot yourself in the foot with the big equipment purchase...:nono::nono:
