Is it too late to start this year I live in Central MA. Me and a buddy would do just lawn mowing. I would advertise with flyers starting this weekend. Also what do you guys pay monthly for insurance. This would probably only be summer and not continue through the winter and start again next year.

It is never too late; we pick up customers as late as October and November. Insurance varies from state to state and if you plan on doing commercial properties. You must carry more insurance if you’re doing commercial properties. Insurance will run between $175 and $300 per month.

I very strongly recommend not doing this with a friend though.. It never never never works out and almost always will tear a friend ship apart. If nothing else start 2 companies. You can help him and he can help you until you both have to much work and can’t help each other. This way, what’s his is his and what’s yours is yours. Nothing to fight about. :cool2:
