This is my rye grass... Keep in mind i live in Lower alabama where we have been having 90 degree weather for the past month and a half. Also lots of my seed was rotten from leaving it in the rain for 3 months before broadcasting it and i didn't cover it with anything. It was bare soil... Tell me what you think.

The stripes look really good, especially given the condition of the lawn.

Yeah it was cleared in december... I threw out the seed then and didn't have a chance to cover with straw before it rained and i think lots of the seed was rotten. I want fescue but i dont thinkn it can take the heat of our summers. It was 92 today and it was 42 two nights ago... LoL. crazy weather

Look pretty nice. I assume you ran a Walker for that lawn judging by the stripes? My 48" Deere Z has a mulch kit on it and it will leave "Walker Stripes" on some of my thinner, weedier accounts. Mine leaves big fat regular stripes on the thick, treated accounts tho. Like i said looks really nice.
