Well guys. Here are the pics I've been promising to get for some of you. I'm really happy with the way the graphics turned out. I'm also really happy with the response I've been getting from it too. I've had more than a few strangers compliment me on how much they like the way it looks. Hopefully it will keep bringing me business. It definitely attracts a lot of attention! That was my whole goal when I was designing a layout. I wanted a layout that was tasteful, but something that would attract a lot of attention.
You might not notice it in these pics, but all green letters are framed with orange and all orange letters are framed with green. The contrast works really well. Hope ya like!!
After I'm done with the inside, I'll post some pics of that as well. To head off any questions at the pass; I made an air-tight bulkhead (wall) that keeps all of the fumes out of the cab. I can have Speedzone in the skid tank and I won't smell a hint of it up front. The same goes for Milorganite. I've had Milorganite loaded in the back for days in the heat of last Summer and I never smelled a hint of it up front. Needless to say; I love this thing. :waving:

That is one sweet unit bud! The lettering & your logo is done just right - very professional. If I saw this unit in my neighborhood, I'd call your number for an estimate and get rid of 'the other guy'. Nice job bud!
I also appreciate your help in the past. Your Iowa bud, Larry :waving:
p.s. I heard Rodney comes over every night & washes it....that true?

Lol.. If he's been coming over every night to wash it, someone must be coming by after he leaves to throw dirt on it, because this thing sees the car wash A LOT! I hate having a dirty truck.

Nice set up there is nothing like lawn care in a van. Do you have a tank inside? Are the any plans for a ride-on?

Thanks for all the good words guys. :) I'm almost done with the inside, but don't want to take any pictures of the interior until it's all done. I have the floor lined with half-inch thick rubber stall matting to help protect it. I wanted to Line-X the floor and lower walls this year, but it wasn't in the budget. It looks like I'll be doing that next year. To help protect it though, I did sand the floor, rust proof it and then paint it with a really durable "rust proof" paint. The floor was clean and free of rust, but I didn't want to take any chances.
I do have my 200 gallon Gregson Clark skid sprayer in the back. I also have a cradle that holds the pump, engine and hose reel mounted so that when you open the side doors, they're all right there. The tank sits between the front half of the wheel wells. I placed it there, so I can install a 100 gallon, PCO-style, fresh water tank in front of it. That way I can fill backpacks with whatever solution I want while I'm out and about. I'll have enough water on the van to do Home Perimeter Pest apps all day and never need to come home to refill. The 100 gallon tank will also allow me to refill the 200 gallon skid if I run out of solution toward the end of the day. How many times have you run out of solution in your skid, when 30 more gallons would have been all you needed to finish your day? Behind my skid, there's still enough room for a ride-on, but since my lawns are so tiny, I don't plan on getting a rider any time soon.
I'm going to build storage compartments above where the fresh water tank is going to sit, so I can carry extra work orders, step stakes, lawn flags, envelopes, extra blower, tools, you name it. I want to utilize every square inch of this thing. No wasted space. I know that it's hard to picture all of this, but I'll have pictures on here, showing what I'm talking about soon.
As you can see, I still have a lot of work to do, but I already LOVE working out of this thing! This is my second year using it. Among other things, I love being able to head to the car wash and not having to worry about getting any fertilizer, or cargo wet.

What kind of sound system are you using and what kind of speakers? Extra amp boost for the sub-woofers? Just wondering...

Okay -- I wasn't sposed to spill the beans, but Vic also uses this van for picking up chicks at tailgate parties at Michigan home football games up in Annarbor. Rodney told me Vic has has season tickets for all Michigan home football games.:laugh: It all makes sense now.
