That is an older exmark. Although it looks to be in good shape, I would offer him 500 to 700. And that is if everything checks out ok.

Thats $500 less than what he is asking, You think he is willing to take that big of a cut. I just wondering what to offer because I can't afford $1200 since I am only 17.

Good shape, older model, baby engine though. 12.5 is not much for heavy wet grass, but if your only cutting a few lawns it should be perfect if everything checks out okay.

I just purchased a 1999 exmark, 36" deck, 15hp kohler, and jungle jim sulky for 300. Mine has the same pistol grip controls. I sunk about 100 in it, but I love my exmark.

I sent him a email and of course he didn't respond but maybe it went to my bulk file that I just didn't see.

Email....Seriously? Ok, I'll give you credit for shopping for the best deal at your age, but here is a trick you need to use. Call and go look at it. I won't drop the price for anything I'm selling over the phone, let alone via an email. When you're there looking at it, look EVERYWHERE. Then tell him you've found good and bad, you don't want to tear his machine apart but you do have a number in your head. After you make an offer you pull out cash. Don't rely on emails. Do everything in person. You'll make a larger impact.
