EFI won't start after winter

Spring comes late in the Rockies. Went to start the Z, charged the battery, turned the ignition on for a minute, cranked it over, no go. Repeated the priming, still no go. Let sit over night, repeated the priming still no start.

Checked this site, and found out about the schrader valve. Pressed it with the ignition off, got a little spurt. Tried priming again for a minute, and almost got a start.

Tried priming with the ignition on, got a lot more gas. Primed it again and once again got an almost start.

I know I can call the dealer, (25 miles away) but looking for anything else to try.

If I want to check the fuel pickup I assume that I just basically pull the fitting out of the tank. It appears to be a rubber grommet press fit. Am I correct.

Got good fuel, have the tank selector to the full tank, apparently I am getting fuel to the injectors, cause the schrader relief valve let out fuel each time.

Need som advice an something else to try befor I call the dealer. Thanks

This post is a couple days old, sorry for the delay, have you resolved this?
You are correct on the fuel pick ups.
Did you by chance change the fuel filter in the system? if so or if you do crack those lines open you need to pre-fill the fuel filter before re-installing it.

Kept priming the injector system with 3 one minute cycles, still no go. Took the fuel pickup out and checked the check valve, it was ok. Put it all back together (45 seconds) let it prime for 2 minutes, still no go. Released pressure at the schreader vavle two more times, go very little gas, (maybe a tablespoon). Turned the key and it started. Ran rough for about 10 seconds, and then it was fine.

I know my dealer could have done it but I hate to have him come 25 miles to do something I could do.

I do put stabilizer in the gas, and I do start it on sunny warm days all winter, apparently just not often enough.
