Spring comes late in the Rockies. Went to start the Z, charged the battery, turned the ignition on for a minute, cranked it over, no go. Repeated the priming, still no go. Let sit over night, repeated the priming still no start.
Checked this site, and found out about the schrader valve. Pressed it with the ignition off, got a little spurt. Tried priming again for a minute, and almost got a start.
Tried priming with the ignition on, got a lot more gas. Primed it again and once again got an almost start.
I know I can call the dealer, (25 miles away) but looking for anything else to try.
If I want to check the fuel pickup I assume that I just basically pull the fitting out of the tank. It appears to be a rubber grommet press fit. Am I correct.
Got good fuel, have the tank selector to the full tank, apparently I am getting fuel to the injectors, cause the schrader relief valve let out fuel each time.
Need som advice an something else to try befor I call the dealer. Thanks
