I took some pics finally.

This lawn was after its second cut of the season and a few weeks after I put down a 32-0-6 fast release fert.

Grass was cut at 3.5"s

Beautiful Doug.

Were those laid with the TTHP?

Looks like something my TTHP could do.

That's impressive. Looking very good! Why don't you have a sulky? That looks like a ways to walk.

I want the proslide but but Its very low on the priority list. I have scaled things down from last year because I didnt feel I was able to retian the same level of quality as the previous year. So since I dont have to rush every cut I just walk it. It is a good walk but I dont mind it, I like to walk, LOL. Keeps me healthy :clapping:

Haha that's true about the healthiness part, and same with the quality part. And that's very good that you took the time to downsize for the overall quality. Very smart move

hey classifiied, do you notice a huge difference in the quality of cut when going from 3 inches to 3.5...........3 inches on the TTHP leaves a smooth as glass cut, but when i pop it up to 3.5 its not as smooth.

funny but true! I don't like the tire tracks. It leaves 2 shades of green in both directions. Plus the foot prints all over the place.

the tire tracks and foot prints rebound almost all the way so a day later it looks like a nice even stripe. Besides, what mower doesn't leave tire marks? LOL

Thanks!

As for a sulky, I don't need one. My father still mows everyday using a belt drive mower and he smokes. He is 56 and healthy as an ox. Walking is healthy and beside the points I already posted if I go much faster the cut sux. I still haven't ever had to double

My Scag doesn't seem to leave tire tracks, nor does the el-cheapo CC commercial 36 WB. These were taken right after cutting. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice but the bold tire tracks take away from the look. I know you mentioned they bounce back. Get a pic of it after a day. :)

I will try to get a pic of it after a day or two. It's not very close to just stop by, it's in between jobs on my long distance day. It looks like the grass in your pics is cut at about 2.5". Don't forget I cut that lawn at 3.5" and this past week at 4". So the tire tracks are more prevelant. Worst case I'll snap some pics before I cut it next week.

I'm just asking because I don't have a clue...what does the particular fertilizer do? I put "particular" because I lost the name in the post. I have clover that's starting to over-run my yard...would this help or just make it grow faster? Sorry if it's a dumb question. Thanks.
Btw...nice pics...the grass looks really good.
I was referring to 32-0-6, I just found it.

Im sorry ALC-GregH...

But that cut doesn't look nearly as good as Dougs.

Tire marks don't bother me a bit, and have grown to like them somewhat....and They Go Away Over Night Usually.

I get bad tire marks when I use my 52" Lesco walk behind. It's a wide frame but the tires are kind of skinny. Main thing I hate about that mower, I tried lowering the pressure in the tires but don't want to go too low.
