we have one at the nursery and it's plagued by front shock/spring problems from lifting stuff, we have stopped using it to move any b&b material over 35" and pallets. just something to think about, maybe the newest incarnation is better, but they'll not out work a skid by a long shot.

the lift capacity is 1500lbs.

not familiar with the ls160 specs.

I have moved a 2200-2500lb pallet of ice melt on it. It won't lift that load high, and when driving, the tail end is up in the air, but I was able to move the pallet around.

I'm used to skidsteers with a minimum of 2200lb lift capacity, so unless the toolcat has other features that you're looking for, you may want to stick with the skid.

thanks guys! yeah i guess it will not be the toolcat. too bad too i really thought having a utv with loader on the front might be nice but i want somthing that can lift a small car if i want, just to give a idea the ls 160 will take a 1/2yard bucket of fine crushed stone full and lift it to max height but that is dangerous as it will flip easy. that is wideopen throttle and flat ground.
