So I went over to Kinkos yesterday to print out some fliers and i was shocked at the price. It was like 51 cents or something per copy. That means I would need to pay $510 dollars for a 1000 copies, in my opinion thats a rip off. Where are you guys buying yours.

I do my own at home. For 510 that must have been full color. If they charge that its more cost effective to mail out post cards.

We print our own, but rarely use flyers or mailers. Every truck has some door hangers and if a home close by where they're working looks like it needs attention the crew leader will slap a hanger on the door.

Bought 5K hangers several years ago.... we put out a few hundred a year. Our turnover is very very small and it'd be tough to take on too many new clients without having to add another crew.... and 8 trucks and trailers is about all the shop will hold.

I print off alot of materials and the cheapest/best I've found is overnightprints.com ... Tried vistaprint but the quality was subpar plus turnaround seemed a little slow. Just had some new business cards for a client printed off and got them here in less than 4 days and the quality was excellent(full color, bleed, heavy stock). As much as I print I would probably be better off working out a deal with a local print shop though. I would never use kinkos unless it was a last option, there prices are outrageous and quality/service sucks.
