Who make a good blade sharpener and about how much should i expect to pay for one. I currently sharpen 26 blades twice a week with my grinder and I'm looking for a little easier way.

There are a couple good blade sharpener manufacturers, here are the links:

FireBall
http://www.gpweb.net/fireball/

Magna-Matic
http://www.magna-matic.com/

I would go with the Fireball blade sharpener, and would go with Magna-Matic blade balancer.

I'll second the Fireball vote, they're in a class by themselves. Opt up to the 300c if you can! As 52 blades a week is quite a lot!

As quick as the Fireball 300c makes blade sharpening, I still hate to sharpen blades! No machine will make it "FUN"!!

P.S. I only sharpen 10 blades a week, and thats about 10 too many!!!

I just bought one from J. Thomas.(www.j-thomas.com) here in michigan. It is Mod. #rbg-2 for 329.99 the best price i could find.

Me and some other lawn workers were wondering why can't anyone invent an automatic sharpener like they use for hockey skates. You just put the blade in and let it do its thing then flip it and do it again. Maybe there is such a thing. If anyone knows I would like to hear about it. I only sharpen 15 blades twice a week.

Will a dedicated blade grinder sharpen curved blades similar to the Lawnboy blades?
