Anybody know what kind of oil I should put into a standard 21" Toro mower? Should I just be using a 10w 30 or 10w 40?

its actaully for somebody that Im friends with and I assume they dont have the manual. I just didnt want to tell them the wrong thing and then something go wrong and them think it was because of that. Thanks though.

Most small engines run on straight 30 wt.

most mowers tell you right on the dip stick,if not on top of the cap.
