watering in new fescue sod

I instaled 50 sq yds. of sod today along my newly installed sidewalk. It was cut at 7:30am, picked up at 8 installed by 11:30(partly due to the fact I had to drive an hour and a half to pick up sod) I immediately gave it a pretty good watering. 3 hours later i gave it another good watering and about 6 I soaked it for about 2 hous until it was kinda squishy when I pressed against it. My question is this, how much water and at what frequency should I continue watering. My location is northeast AL. and the temp high will probably be around 90 F. for the next couple weeks. I greatly appreciate your help in advance.
