i have a js63 self-propelled mower and one of the rear drive wheels makes a grinding noise on every revolution, like the wheel gear and the tranny gear are not lining up right. the gear on the wheel looked worn, so i replaced it, same noise. with the wheel off, if i turn the tranny (drive shaft) gear, there is no grinding noise? does any one know what could be causing this grinding?
