Getting ready to buy a walkbehind and going to choose between a John Deere, scag, and exmark whats the best?

I have an exmark and love it. Have run a scag before but that was 10 years ago.

Can't really say which is best. I think that's like asking which is best; Chevy Ford or Dodge? It's all in what you like I guess.

I don't think many people here will recommend a Deere walk behind. Tractor.....maybe, walk behind don't think many will advise you to do that. Just from what I've seen from reading on this site. Not personal experience.

Their is no such thing as the best. This year I run all exmark 2 years ago I ran all JD........ next year I havent decided....

were you happy with the john deere or are they junk. some people tell me that they are not built good

Yes JD are great, Their commercial line of walk behinds and Z's Keep note of the people who told you they are junk. People who make blanket statements like that-- Those are the people who you might not want to take advice from. Go to a JD. dealer and take a look at them. I went with exmark last year because they bribed me with a better deal dollar wise. JD did not want to talk $ but I don't judge a mower by that.

You could also go with a Toro. Made with most of the same parts as a Deere but cheaper in price. That's what I am going with. Also depends on do you have a good place for service on all 3 brands? Choose the one that you can get serviced easily.
