I think some guys on here said they use it to blow some snow off the driveway. I am going to try it next winter and see whats up.

- say you got some hot ashes in a fire pit from night before and want another fire , throw on some wood and use the blower to heat the ashes up real hot to ignite wood

- open both doors of work truck , remove
moveable objects . then blow out the cab :cool2:

- got wet work boots , remove boots and insert
blower into each one to dry out

- blow out the garage

After a hot day or when I'm really dirty I sometimes wet my hair, arms, and legs with the hose then use the leafblower to dry myself so I'm not dripping water throughout the house. I call it the man's hairdryer.

That reminds me. On really hot days we would take the blowers and close our eyes and blast each other in the face with it to get cooled down. Poor mans air conditioning. Probably was not the smartest thing to do, but it sure felt good on those heat wave days.

Believe it or not my backpack blower has cut my blowing time in half after every mowing I do. I always figured strapping on a backpack and trying to start it would take longer, but mine starts the first pull and I'm able to blow off a driveway and other areas much much quicker.

I tried using my handheld the other day....don't think I'll ever go back to it.

I took a funnel and created an adaptor to blow up my inflatable air matress. Even on idle, It will blow it up in a matter of seconds. Granted, I have to finish the last little bit to get it fully inflated with the compressor, but man,...what a time saver. as I say, just a matter of seconds.

Cleaning out the truck bed after getting a load of mulch. Emptying the truck bed of a load of dry leaves. Drying off the mowers after washing it so I can put them away right away. Blowing the cuttings out of bushes after trimming them. Blowing myself clean before getting in the truck or going in the house.

I tried using my handheld the other day....don't think I'll ever go back to it.

Both my BPs were in the truck one day while my father was at a jobsite. I was at home cleaning up our yard and ended up using the handheld. I gave up and waited until he got home.

My dad borrowed one of my redmax back packs to use to clean up his yard. After he got done he returned it to me. A few days later he needed a blower and started up the hand held I gave to him after I got back packs. He thought it was broke at first because it put out so little air compared to the back packs he had just used.
