Do you want a vac for your walkbehinds, or do you want an actual lawn vacuum?

We run Trac Vac 470's on all our WB's for 8 years now. Only complaint I get from my guys (guys 5'7'' of less) is that it can be tough seeing over the front-mounted collection barrel.
Besides that, they're great. Those babies can suck up your customer's cat if you're not careful. LOL

There is still about 12inches of snow on the ground, cant wait for it to be gone so I can get something done!!! In this part of the country there is alot of pine trees and needles,I am tried of raking them so I figured a selfpropelled walkbehind vac will work great?? ps.here is my baby for cutting snow:D
Here's trac vac's website Ron:

I don't think there is a single snow plowing machine like that anywhere in NJ at this time. I never even saw one of those before... Looks like an Army tank, missing the turnet and guns. <G>
Still have 12 inches on the ground?
We got 4 inches this whole winter. <G>

We get average 90inches of snowfall a year. I thought we were going to have a early spring untill March gave us 56 inches of snow. This year we had a total of 77 inches, and there still is 26inches of ice still on the lakes. We are going to get some warm weather this week,ya ya.That is a 2001 Tucker that I use to groom smowmobile trails.Andy:D Thanks for the trac vac website, how are those Billy Goats?

How well do the Trac Vacs work with wet leaves and needles? Living up here on the wet coast usuaaly tests the limits of these kind of machines. I have a Billy gOat, one of the smaller ones that is not self propelled with the 2" chipper and it is a handy little machine.

You might want to check out Peco too, I know they make vacs for ZTR's, but I'm not sure about w/b's.

I have a Billy Goat w/b vac. Thing can suck like a... well lets just say it has more than enough force to suck up pine needles. Check them out. They aren't too expensive either.

I have the KD511H model w/ a Briggs. I don't have a self propelled, b/c of cost loss of power and it's light.
