idk if your serious or not but no
I'd say he was...sadly enough....nice walk-behinds though
07-10-2009, 09:51 AM
We have to start somewhere with the offers right, you need to give a starting price for the mowers or they wont get sold period.
07-11-2009, 08:27 PM
really what are you looking to get for both or each one seperately, its easy to say make me an offer hope someone offers too much, but thats not going to happen these days.so if you realy want to sell these mowers shoot out some numbers and don`t expect to make a profit on them.i think all anybody really wants is a fair deal.
07-11-2009, 08:48 PM
If you look at the towards the beginning of the tread you will see that he is asking $1550 for the 48" which is the reason this tread was started to begin with. I believe that is a very fair price for the hours and condition for a mower of Scag's quality. Read the whole tread before you throw stones. As far as the 36" I wouldn't see him taking much less than $1100 or $1200 for it. I think he is just asking that you be reasonable with offers. Don't insult him with some lowball offer. Nobody likes a lowballer!!!!

thank you yard dawgs make a profit? sorry buddy but i dont do things at a loss i will let these sit in my shop in the corner where they are before i just give them away. i still have my first 36 we bought in 99 with the flat front before advantage decks has over 2000 hours on the clock on a 14 hp kawi. scag walkbehinds are about as bullet proof as they come and i dont know for sure but i bought a 32in 15 hp 2 years ago for over 3 grand so i know that the new 36 and 48 will set you back atleast 3 grand a piece and its not like either of these machines are beat up or have huge hours on them. i am not like some of you that paint you mowers to cover up or lie about the hours i was just offering them to see what the interest is and i have been around the site long enough to know how alot of people act i have more important things to do like running my business then cutting down everybody who is selling somthing on lawnsite. If you want a $600 lawnmower home depot has a honda with your name all over it.
