I found a website a few weeks ago and now I can't find it. They sell a kit that replaces the mower blades with a round disc and 4 swinging knives mounted to the disc. A deck that had 3 blades would have 3 disc and 12 knives, so you have much more cutting contact. Has anyone seen or used this setup before. Thanks

This (http://www.meg-mo.com/index.html) is the product you're talking about.

I suggest using the SEARCH function - lots o' [heated] discussion respecting Meg-mo's.

In fact, I'm surprised Mr. Meg-mo himself hasn't chimed in yet (what happened to that guy?).

I've never tried Meg-Mo's system. Best I remember from those who have used it - not a very good report.

But in all fairness to Meg-Mo - are there any members who have used and are satisfied with Meg-Mo.

Either I'm doing something wrong (very possible) or the search function at this site is not very good. I tried many times to search on various combinations of meg mo, and got zero results.

I think that it isn't telling me but it is ignoring any words of three characters or less.

So I tried meg mo blade and got results, but it's again ignoring the words meg and mo. I tried using AND...no difference...

I really wanted to read up on past discussions but can't figure out how to find them. If anyone knows how to search out and find prior threads that contain the words meg and mo together, I'd like to understand the way you did it.

One word: Megmo (http://www.lawnsite.com/search.php?searchid=3978564).

Happy reading!

Not a lot of people know this but will find it very useful when trying to find something on a specific site.
1. Go to google.com
2. In the search bar, type the following.
site:lawnsite.com "meg-mo"

Now, this will bring back posts with the word meg-mo exactly as typed.
IF you want to be broad, I would use "meg"
OR you can leave the quotes off and use meg mo but your results will be very broad.

Happy Googling and Happy Friday!
No children or wife at home tonight so I have to celebrate something! Just not sure what its going to be yet...:drinkup::drinkup:

I have tried several sets of Megmo blades, with mixed results. The best application for them would be a rear discharge rotary type app, my Jacobsen HR-5111 (10.5 ft.) works well, seem to leave clippings smaller. Also tried on Scag T/T and Wright Standers, didn't work well at all for me.

I have talked with Roy, and while I was on the phone I was almost sold. Their is just to many mixed reviews on the Meg-MO system. I went with the Dixie Chopper X-blades their well worth the money, no vibration or extra power needed to run the X-blades.

The cut is absolutly amazing at all speeds, I notice the most difference at higher speeds

Since these piucs I have replaced the lower blade with an Gator balde even better
