I've been told 2 totally opposing stories for material choice as a buffer between grassed areas and the outer building perimeter.
1- 3/4" or down crushed rock - use this because the rodents can't harbour in fine aggregates as they could in between larger 3" rock
2- 3" or greater - use this because rodents (mice) don't like to cross the larger gap size
So what do you guys think is the superior rodent buffer material choice?
