Allright, I asked RestroRob the exact same question and this is what he told me. If you have tried all the mechanical adjustments, swap the wheel motors around and see if the problem follows the motor or stays on the same side. That will tell you whether it is the pump or the wheel motor. Then go from there. Also check all the hydro lines closely, apparently they can suck air and not leak, that could also be the issue.
Thanks again Restro.

You better check the oil condition first. If the r/s pump is tearing up, you will contaminate the swaped wheel motor. The pump should be flow tested.

^^^What Ricky said^^^ Do a flow test on the pump and a wheel motor stall test. If you have a damaged pump and you swap wheel motors you could contaminate and damage the other pump.

Hello Dreamthegreen,
Here is an easy way to tell if you hydro system needs a dealer visit. This will work with the BOB-CAT midsize and ZT rider units that use hydro gear pumps and Parker Wheel motors.
Test done with engine OFF!!
1. Check all mechanical adjustments.
2. Jack the rear of unit off the ground slightly and rest on jack stands.
3. Be sure by-pass valves are closed on pumps and parking brake is released.
4. Grab the tire and try to rotate it, a good hydro system should be hydraulically locked in reverse and should go forward with great resistance.
If the wheel motor turns freely in both directions then you know it is time for the dealer to hook up a flow-meter to determine if it is the pump or the wheel motor.
Never swap components from side to side!!
Hope this helps,
