50 hours overtime. So 65 hours each week.

Busy as hell!

Statement as of 11:43 am PDT on June 14, 2009

... Twenty-six consecutive dry days and still counting...

If no measurable rain falls today at Seattle-Tacoma International
Airport... it would end up being the 26th consecutive dry day. It is
possible during this time of the year to have significant dry
spells. The following is a list of the top 5 dry spells /consecutive
days with no measurable rainfall/ in may and June for Seattle-Tacoma
Airport.

29 days may 28th - June 25th 1982
27 days may 6th - June 1st 1963
26 days may 20th - June 14th 2009***
24 days Apr 30th - may 23rd 1946
23 days may 12th - June 3rd 1995
23 days may 30th - June 21st 1969

The record number of consecutive dry days at Seattle-Tacoma Airport
is 51 days set back in 1951. There was no measurable rainfall during
the period from July 7th through August 26th of that year.

Same here, for about 3 weeks. Thunderboomers and rain every afternoon. Odd year for us here, but I love it. Have had some systems off for 3 weeks, probably saved 10 million gallons this month on watering.

Been a lot of "chance of rain" stuff. We've even had a little bit of rain.......not quite 3" so far this YTD. Records I can fine show our YTD avg should be about 1" more than that. Everyone is talking about how "wet" and unusual this is at the course. It seems to be the consensus that this "weird" weather must be the reason things look so good. (I promise you it just CANNOT be the new guy managing the course and the irrigation) Sorry, seems like I am constantly finding sour grapes in everything lately, but despite the cooler than normal (not so much that I can tell from historic data) and wetter than normal (again, not from the data I can find) weather, things continue to be "just left" of paradise here.

We had such a huge winter with snow fall they are still melting. So I don't think we will have droughts this year. It's just been hot and dry.Though 3 weeks ago on memorial weekend I went camping . The same spot that had at least 10' of snow was completely melted when I went up yesterday

We have only had about 3-4 sunny days in the last 3 weeks. If this keeps up we will be out of work in another week.

That can be said truthfully for a lot of issues.

Obviously it's time for a trade summit, to swap some Eastern gloomy weather for some Western drought.

Raining every afternoon here as well. Hailed at my home yesterday. Everything is green and lush. For a change.

We've got systems that are normally running at 70% now running at 150% and still have areas showing signs of stress.

We have a 5 month irrigation season here. We work 7 days a week averaging about 80 hrs/week. The only time we get any time off is if it rains...

Yup, one of the best sounds a sprinkler guy can hear is the patter of raindrops; at least out west.
