Ok I see and hear Lawn Care Business, Lawn Maintenance Business and Landscape Maintenance Business.
So what is the real difference, I ask for insurance and license reasons. Just want to make sure I am saying the right thing.

Some argue that "Lawn CARE" is fertilizer and pesticide treatment, while "Lawn mowing/maintenance/service", is a mow-blow-and-go operation. If you add "Landscape" to your name, you had best BE a real landscaper and most of your work needs to be that.
As you can see, I'm "lawn care", and I mostly am a mowing operation. I also do fert/pesticide apps, but not as a full time gig.

Thanks Jason,
I see people advertising "Lawn Care" and only mow and trim, so I thought that people used these terms in regards to the whole lawn industry. I know that pesticides and such require a special license or permit and landscape does as well. Just wanted to make sure what I advertise does not convey services I cannot provide leagally.

Lawncare is mowing the grass and trimming. That is different from landscaping. When you go to get insurance they will ask if you do just lawncare or if you are a landscpaer, I think lawncare is cheaper since they have to send off for landscaping.

As the same question in the pesticide forum. The guys over there believe that "lawn Care" is chemical/fertilizer app. businesses. That's where I got the basis for the information I posted this morning. The lawn care / lawn service name has been hashed out before on this forum.
