Exmark wont start

My exmark Lazer Z blade would not engage and the when I turned it off then it wouldn't start. I jumped the starter and it would spin but it didn't turn the engine. Any suggestions?

Well, since the blades wouldnt engage and then it wouldnt start the obvious thing to check is your pto switch. Makes a lot of sense.

Yup, probably a safety switch. It could be your seat switch, which would make it so you couldn't engage your blade or let it start. Check them all, and jumper them if necessary. GL
