Trimmer question?

We have 3 Shindawia power-brooms and 5 Echo trimmers 2 of which are split boom, I see Red max and Shindawia offer split booms and to finally get to my question will a Red-Max or A Shindawia power-broom head fit on my Echo split boom??? Why I asked I dont want to pay $500plus for another power broom when the heads are like $200

All you could do, really, is try it and see. Although, I have to say, with all these manufacturers having their own sizes of shafts and such, I kind of doubt it that it would work.
